e grace of Waheguru Ji, the festival of Teeyan was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy, and vibrant Punjabi spirit at Supnian De Ghar, run by the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar, on 16 August 2026.
Teeyan is a beautiful festival deeply connected with Punjabi culture. Celebrated during the month of Sawan, Teeyan especially symbolizes the joy and happiness of daughters, sisters, and mothers. Traditionally, young women gather together on this occasion to enjoy swings, perform Giddha, and express their feelings through traditional Punjabi boliyan. Teeyan is not merely a festival; it is a beautiful celebration of Punjabi heritage, togetherness, and the happiness of daughters and sisters.
Preparations for Teeyan had been underway at Supnian De Ghar for several days. Our mothers, sisters, and young girls were very excited about this special day. The girls had been preparing their Giddha and dance performances, and everyone participated enthusiastically to make the program memorable.
From the very morning of Teeyan, Supnian De Ghar was filled with happiness and celebration. Our mothers, sisters, and young girls dressed beautifully in traditional Punjabi attire. Smiles lit up their faces as their feet moved to the rhythm of Giddha. The girls performed Giddha with great enthusiasm, danced joyfully, and everyone came together to share the happiness of Teeyan.
The most beautiful moment of the program was seeing the smiles on the faces of our mothers, sisters, and young girls, which made the celebrations at Supnian De Ghar even more joyful. ❤️
We pray to Waheguru Ji that all the mothers, sisters, and young girls of Supnian De Ghar always remain happy, smiling, playing, dancing, and singing, and continue to live lives filled with joy. May Waheguru Ji always keep His merciful and protective hand over Supnian De Ghar and every soul who lives here. 🙏
