Gurmel Kaur

27, February 2026

By the grace of Waheguru Ji, on 27-02-2026 the Manukhta Di Sewa family got the opportunity to serve Mata Gurmel Kaur Ji from village Mehna, District Moga. Mata Ji was living in very poor conditions in her own home. In a broken house, the mother was living with her son. Somehow, both mother and son were managing to survive.
One day, while cooking food, Mata Ji caught fire. As a result, both of her legs were severely burned, and she became unable to walk, remaining bedridden. There were large blisters on her hands and feet, and one leg had completely decayed. Her son is addicted to alcohol. Sometimes neighbors would provide food and water, or whatever the son earned through daily labor, he would bring something for his mother from that.
Mata Ji was forced to use the toilet on the bed itself, and with hands soiled by filth, she was compelled to eat her meals.
Her son, Kuldeep Singh, shared that his father passed away when he was very young. After that, his mother brought him to her parental village. She worked hard her entire life, doing labor work to raise and even get her son married, but later he got divorced.
Please pray that while staying at Supneya Da Ghar, Mata Ji regains her health and is able to live a better life with her son.
