By the grace of Waheguru Ji, the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar received an opportunity to serve Veer Parveen Kumar on 25-12-2025, from Behniwal village, District Mansa.
Veer Parveen Kumar has been living a life of immense suffering for the past 10–12 years, confined within his own home and kept in chains. He had studied up to the 12th standard and was once full of dreams and hope. With great determination, he prepared to go to Singapore for work. His visa had arrived, and his flight was scheduled just two days later. A bright future seemed within reach.
Unfortunately, fate took a tragic turn. While performing sewa at a religious place, Veer Parveen Kumar suffered a severe electric shock. This incident deeply impacted his mental health, leaving him mentally disturbed. In a single moment, his dream of going abroad was shattered, and along with it, he lost the ability to care for himself and live a normal life.
His elder brother shared that the family sought treatment from several hospitals, hoping for recovery, but complete relief was never achieved. About six years ago, their mother also passed away. During the rituals of immersing her ashes, Veer Parveen Kumar went missing, causing immense fear and pain to the family. Fearing that he might be lost forever, the brother, out of helplessness and concern, made the heartbreaking decision to keep him chained at home for his safety.
Due to his mental condition, Veer Parveen Kumar lived in extremely unhygienic surroundings, surrounded by filth, reflecting the depth of his suffering and neglect—not by choice, but by circumstance.
Today, he is under the care of Supnian De Ghar, where efforts are being made to restore his health, dignity, and hope. We humbly request everyone to pray that Veer Parveen Kumar recovers fully, regains his mental stability, and is able to live a healthy, dignified, and joyful life once again. Waheguru Ji Mehar Kare. ๐
