By the grace of Waheguru Ji, the Manukhta Di Sewa family got the opportunity on 29-01-2026 to serve Bapu Sucha Singh, his wife Kulwinder Kaur, and their son Kamaljit Singh from village Parjian Khurd, Tehsil Shahkot, District Jalandhar. This family had been living a hellish life inside their own home for nearly the past 15 years.
Bapu Sucha Singh once had a happy and well-settled family. His household included his wife and two sons. Earlier, Bapu Ji served as a Granthi Singh in the village Gurdwara. Both sons studied up to the 12th grade; the elder son is now settled abroad. The younger son, Kamaljit Singh, used to work as an electrician. Bapu Ji’s wife had a slightly simple nature from the beginning.
Several years ago, Bapu Ji met with a severe road accident, during which he suffered a serious head injury. After this accident, he became mentally upset. One of his eyes has also been permanently damaged.
The elderly mother is also unable to walk and is mentally upset. The impact of this mental illness also affected their son. Kamaljit Singh, who was working well as an electrician until about five years ago, has now become mentally disturbed. At times, he becomes extremely aggressive and even throws stones and bricks at people.
For the past 15 years, the elderly parents had never stepped outside their house, and now even the son goes out only occasionally.
When the Manukhta Di Sewa family visited them, they found that despite the severe cold, both elderly parents were lying inside the house in a half-naked condition. Their son was also highly aggressive. With great difficulty, all three family members were brought to Supnean De Ghar (Home of Dreams).
We humbly request everyone to offer prayers that all three family members may regain their health while staying here and live their lives with peace, comfort, and happiness. ๐
